The Emergency Sectional Replacement / Reburial of Exposed Section of the 16-inch OBIGBO – IKPE ANANG Segment of the ALSCON Gas Pipeline System at KP21+575.
STATUS: Completed

Project Summary:

Bogovite Engineering Limited was contracted to execute the emergency sectional replacement and reburial of an exposed section of a gas pipeline system along a defined pipeline corridor. The objective of the project was to restore the integrity of the pipeline and salvage affected sections at the exposed and damaged stream crossing.

The project was executed using experienced manpower, as well as appropriate light and heavy marine equipment, in strict compliance with safety standards and operational procedures. Bogovite Engineering Limited successfully mobilized personnel and equipment to the site and completed the works, followed by safe demobilization.

2. Project Name: Replacing & Reburying Exposed Stream Crossing Section

The Emergency Sectional Replacement / Reburial of Exposed Stream Crossing Section of the 16-inch ALSCON II Pipeline at KP17+900 in Abia State.
STATUS: Completed

Project Summary:

The com was contracted to execute the emergency sectional replacement and reburial of an exposed stream crossing section of a 16-inch gas pipeline. This intervention followed a detailed pipeline integrity assessment conducted along the pipeline route, with the objective of restoring system integrity and salvaging the affected section at the exposed stream crossing.

The project was carried out using experienced manpower and a combination of light and heavy marine equipment, in strict adherence to established safety standards and operational procedures.

Bogovite Engineering Limited successfully mobilized personnel and equipment to site and executed the works to completion, followed by full demobilization in line with project requirements.

3. Project Name: Platform Construction & Piping Installation Works

The Construction of a Work Platform Round the Slop Tank Pit and Piping for safe condensate evacuation at Alaoji Metering Station and Intermediate Pigging Station, Umodiaka Nigeria.
STATUS: Completed

Project Summary:

Following a Facility Integrity Assessment conducted on the Metering Station and Intermediate Pigging Station, Bogovite Engineering Limited (BGV) was engaged to execute the construction of a work platform around the slop tank pit, as well as install piping systems for the safe evacuation of condensate at the Metering Station and Intermediate Pigging Station.

The project scope encompassed procurement, pre-fabrication, and fabrication of platform components, fit-up and welding of structural members, drilling for hold-down bolts, installation of supports, and formwork construction. The Project was completed with a top-notch execution procedure to the satisfaction of the project owner.

4. Project Name: Modification of Ruptured Fire Hydrant Ring System

The emergency modification of ruptured Fire Hydrant Ring at Onne Metering Station from existing underground installation to above surface installation at Onne Metering Station, Rivers State, Nigeria.
STATUS: Completed

Project Summary:

The company was contracted to carry out the emergency modification of a ruptured Fire Hydrant Ring at Onne Metering Station, converting the system from an existing underground installation to an above-ground configuration.

The scope of work included pre-fabrication of piping spools based on the layout of the existing hydrant network, fit-up and welding of tees, elbows, and flanges to minimize hot work at the site, as well as civil and structural activities such as formwork construction, bending of reinforcement bars for pipe supports, casting of supports, and excavation. The works also involved cutting out sections of the existing hydrant ring and tying in new 6-inch pipe fittings to the existing 4-inch system.

5. Project Name: Emergency Remedial Works at Intermediate Pigging Station

The Emergency Remedial Works at Intermediate Pigging Station in Ikpe-Annang, Akwa-Ibom State Nigeria.
STATUS: Completed

Project Summary:

Our client conducted a Facility Integrity Assessment on the Intermediate Pigging Station. Following the outcome of the assessment, Bogovite Engineering Limited was engaged to execute emergency remedial works aimed at restoring the integrity and functionality of the facility and its associated piping systems.

The remedial scope included replacement of ball valves, cut-out, fit-up, and welding of sockets, elbows, and repair of the 16-inch pig trap ball valve (including Teflon components), and rehabilitation of the facility entrance gate.

The project was executed using experienced personnel, appropriate light and heavy equipment, and in strict adherence to safety standards and procedures.

Bogovite Engineering Limited successfully mobilized personnel and equipment to the site and completed the emergency remedial works in line with established engineering and safety standards, meeting the client’s objectives.

6. Project Name: Recommissioning of ALSCON Gas Pipeline

The Recommisioning of the Obigbo – Ikot Abasi segment of the ALSCON Gas Pipeline for Gas Supply to FIPL Nigeria.
STATUS: Completed

Project Summary:

The recommissioning of the Obigbo–Ikot Abasi segment of the ALSCON Gas Pipeline was executed to restore gas supply to FIPL customers

The recommissioning activity involved the injection of nitrogen into the pipeline system using quad racks. Each quad consisted of sixteen nitrogen cylinders, with each cylinder pressurized to 200 bar and containing approximately 10 cubic feet of nitrogen. This process was undertaken to safely purge and prepare the pipeline for the reintroduction of gas.

The project was executed using experienced manpower and appropriate light and heavy equipment, in strict adherence to safety standards and operational procedures. Bogovite Engineering Limited successfully mobilized personnel and equipment to the site and completed the recommissioning exercise, followed by full demobilization.

Scope of Work (SOW):

The scope of work included, but was not limited to, the following:

  • Management of all community-related matters associated with the project
  • Provision of all required materials, including tubing, hoses, fittings, and accessories, as well as necessary equipment in line with the Bill of Quantities
  • Mobilization of personnel and equipment to the metering station following successful community engagement

7. Project Name: The Replacement Of Line Actuator Break Valve.

The Replacement of 24”x 600# Line Break Valve with Actuator at KP196 Ajaokuta and servicing of Line Break Valve at KP164 and KP132 in AMN. Ajaokuta Metering Station (KP132, KP164 & KP196), Nigeria.
STATUS: Completed

Project Summary:

The replacement and servicing of Line Break Valves (LBV) of a 24” × 600# with an actuator at KP196 (Ajaokuta), as well as the servicing of existing LBVs at KP164 (Ogbangede) and KP132 within Asset Management North (AMN).

Bogovite Engineering Limited was contracted to execute the project across approximately 64 kilometers of pipeline. The objective was to restore operational integrity of the pipeline system and salvage the existing line break valves where applicable.

The project was executed using experienced manpower, supported by appropriate light and heavy equipment, in strict compliance with safety standards and operational procedures. Bogovite Engineering Limited successfully mobilized personnel and equipment to the site and completed the replacement and servicing works, followed by safe demobilization.

The Inspection and Cleaning of 8NOS Pressure Vessels (Filter Separators F310A. F310B. F310C. HFN30TRC. HFN60TRC1. HFN60TRC2 and Knockout Drums K001/K002) At Ibese Metering Station, Nigeria.
STATUS: Completed

Project Summary:

Inspection and Cleaning of Eight (8) Pressure Vessels at NGMC initiated an integrity assessment program for eight (8) pressure vessels located at its Metering Station. As part of this initiative, Bogovite Engineering Limited (BGV) was contracted to carry out the inspection and cleaning of the designated vessels.

The scope covered Filter Separators (F310A, F310B, F310C, HFN30TRC, HFN60TRC1, HFN60TRC2) and Knockout Drums (KOO1/KOO2), to ensure their continued integrity and safe operation under existing service conditions.

The project was executed using experienced manpower, supported by appropriate light and heavy equipment, and in strict compliance with established safety standards. Following a kick-off meeting, Bogovite Engineering Limited mobilized personnel and equipment to site and successfully completed the project before demobilization.

9. Project Name: Gas Supply Connection from NGIC Pigging Station (Ewekoro) to Paras Energy Limited CNG Plant, Papalanto, Ogun State

STATUS: Completed

Project Summary:

Paras Energy Limited acquired land in Papalanto, Ogun State, with the objective of developing a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) plant. To support this development, NGIC approved a gas supply connection from its Pigging Station at Ewekoro. In consideration of future expansion and potential third-party access, NGIC also approved the construction of a Pressure Reduction and Metering Station (PRMS) and a control center.

Bogovite Engineering Limited was initially engaged to carry out a detailed site evaluation and engineering assessment to determine the most suitable execution methodology, ensuring compliance with best engineering practices and minimal environmental impact.

Subsequently, DDFFGHH Limited was contracted to execute the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) scope of the project. The works were completed using experienced manpower, supported by appropriate light and heavy equipment, in strict adherence to safety and quality standards. The project was successfully executed, and all personnel and equipment were safely demobilized upon completion.

10. Project Name: Engineering, Procurement, Installation, and Commissioning of Volumetric Flow Control System (VFCS) (Lot II), Ibafo, Ogun State, Nigeria

STATUS: Completed

Project Summary:

The NNPC Gas Infrastructure Company Limited (NGIC) has embarked on a strategic initiative to deploy volumetric flow control systems across its pipeline network to ensure equitable distribution of natural gas to all its customers by limiting supply to contractual volumes. To achieve this objective, NGIC contracted Bogovite Engineering Limited for the Engineering, Procurement, Installation, and Commissioning (EPIC) of these critical systems. This project details the successful implementation of the project, which involved the installation of two volumetric flow control systems—a 14-inch and a 4-inch system—at a remote and unmanned project site. Given the site’s unique conditions, the project required the integration of advanced signal relaying capabilities to transmit data from the respective locations to NGIC’s SCADA control centres for effective monitoring and control. This initiative underscores NGIC’s commitment to enhancing operational efficiency and reliability in its gas distribution network.

Bogovite Engineering Limited mobilized both equipment and personnel to site, and demobilized after a successful completion of the Engineering, Procurement, Installation, and Commissioning of Volumetric Flow Control Systems (VFCS) project.
